Bespoke Joinery
We specialise in providing joinery services and manufacturing quality wooden products to exacting standards. You may want us to fit your own internal doors, or you may want us to make a complete set of new hardwood windows. Whatever the job, we will not leave until you are totally satisfied.
Services
We can make almost anything out of wood, from a substantial farmhouse door to homes for hedgehogs. We also provide a manufacturing service for your own projects or your business.
Windows
We have many years experience in manufacturing both hardwood and softwood windows. With our expertise and specialist equipment, we can copy your existing windows or tailor make them to your own design.
If you live in a listed building or conservation area, you know how important it is to install exactly the right wooden windows.
Doors
We can produce any sort of door to your specification, in hardwood or softwood. Maybe it's a stable door that takes your fancy, or perhaps you've always wanted stained glass. If you have your own doors, then we are happy to provide a fitting service.
Storage Solutions
Nobody ever has enough storage space. We can help you make the most of those alcoves with custom made shelves or cupboards. Why not utilise that space under the stairs and ask us to build in some bookshelves. We could even build you a hidden bookcase door.
We will always aim to work to your budget, so don't feel you have to have expensive oak.
Staircase Refurbishment
Are you tired of endlessly dusting and repainting the spindles on that staircase? We can transform your staircase with modern glass inserts. These can be secured with chrome brackets or fitted into the wood.
Joinery Services
If you have an unusual requirement or a lot of little things that need doing, we are happy to quote you a daily rate. You may have some skirting that needs fitting or doors that need adjusting. We have a wide range of skills and can probably help.
Manufacturing
We have workshop and machining facilities, so if you need wood processed to your own requirements, please get in touch.
Custom Made Furniture
We can make tables, benches or desks to your specification. If you need a solid oak table or a beech cabinet for your fish tank, we can make it.

About KB Joinery
My name is Keith Brooks and I am the proprietor of KB Joinery. We are a small family firm and I served my joinery apprenticeship under the watchful eye of my Dad, Alan Brooks. His expertise is invaluable and my aim is always to reach his standards. My hope now is that my son, also Alan Brooks (or Little Al) will follow in the family footsteps.
We have a workshop in Risley, Warrington and our customer base stretches across Cheshire and into Lancashire

Design and build a "church bench style" corner seating unit and matching table, also under stairs fitted cupboards to hide a computer and printer which matches style and wood colouring. Keith delivered on his promised schedule within our agreed budget. He gave good advice based on his experience and we modified the original design where necessary. I got what I wanted and am very happy with the finished product. I have a future project in mind and will be happy to contact Keith when I am ready.
Stellar job done by Keith and his son who went above and beyond to get my doors looking great in what is a very old house where nothing is straight or easy! They did a fantastic job of hanging, shaving and affixing two heavy doors and obviously put a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommended.
